Queen Dawn Is calling any willing person to come to Lord British’s Castle in Trammel on February 1st and February 6th for Special Training. The training will qualify you to join Queen Dawns Guard. Dawn said “I rather have a guard that I know and trust. One that I will be able to call upon and have faith in their skills rather than constantly asking farmers to leave their families and potentially never come back.”

These sessions are the first of many, you don’t need to be there both days however it is recommended.
More Information will be given upon arrival.

It is on January 28th the people of Britannia traditionally celebrate the adventure Brialla of the Seven Tears monk order, which would become a cornerstone of Empath Abbey, undertook to map the north-lands of Britannia.  It was in this journey that the rich ore deposits around present day Minoc were discovered.

Join us in this celebration of humility and sacrifice, as we don simple robes and walk, barefoot, the dangerous path of Empath Abbey to the town of Minoc. Once there players are may recount tales of their own adventures, and smiths are encouraged to come and sell their finest metalwork.

We will meet out front of the Ye Olde Winery (Trammel), adjacent to Empath Abbey, on January 28th at 8pm CST / 9pm EST.

Time to add to the trophy collection at Yew. This will be a single elimination mage duel tournament. Duel matching will be random. It will take place in an EM-owned home in an underground cave. Any fighting in this house outside of a sanctioned duel will result in a permanent banning. Any attempts to grief from the outside of the house may result in expulsion from the cave and a ban from participation in future PvP tournaments.

The tournament will start at 7pm CST, on the 24th (Sunday) of January. Gates will be provided at most or all of the Felucca town moongates to take you to the arena. If you aren’t around when your turn is called you will forfeit.

Rules:

No pets/mounts, summons, etc

Mages must have both hands filled (book and sc shield or other item)

No weapons

No Pots/Petals/Apples (or faction bandies) allowed. Your best bet is to not bring any item in your pack to give you aid.

Pure templates only (Focus, inscription, parry, wrestling, resisting spells, meditation, evaluating intelligence, magery)

Lanterns aren’t necessary unless agreed on by both duelists

After the fine goods were stolen Dawn started to take action. She asked permission of Zhah, to look through her lands for the murderous man. After much work and weeks of searching she found a clue to where his hide out could be. Dawn calls to arms, any able body is requested to meet her in the Throne Room of Ter Mur’s Royal City so that, the vile man who has eluded her for so long can meet his end.

Join us Thursday (Dec 31) night to drink, eat, have fun, and bring in 2010!

We’ll kick off the party around 9pm CST at the Luna fairgrounds. Once we’re good and stuffed on food and booze we’ll begin a few small events for those of you driven towards competition. All leading up to the final “countdown” to the new years (based on CST/GMT-6).

Hello everyone, Event Moderator Aname and Autolycus here, just wanting to let you know, we haven’t forgotten about you!?! That is all….

But a series of unfortunate events has occurred making it so both of us can’t be on a lot of the time, the last bit of November and the starting bit of December Aname had a very nasty flu, making him not even get out of bed. It really drained him out 100% so he has not been able to even look at his Computer Screen. Then there is Autolycus who well… If he can, will post in a separate message what his computer looks like and you will see why he has not been able to get into UO. Basically the system went down from over use. He has a CPU coming in the mail and will be setting back up as soon as possible. Aname is starting to get some Xmas event ideas so that there will be even more happening.

We have 2 for sure events that we will be doing and throughout December we will have a few special little treats now and then.

A hat to block the sun since you will be out there for quite some time (hopefully)
And really anything else you normally carry.

It is recommended that you do not have a mount since it might be harder for you to get fine movements around some of the track(s), and potentially could be sent back to the start. However if you have full control on a mount all the power to you
